The Humeca consulting group was founded in 1981 and specialized itself in
the fields of materials- (e.g. polymer-) and medical engineering.
Within these fields Humeca offers:
- feasibility studies - development and improvement of products and
processes - research and trouble-shooting - development, production and supply
of medical products
In cooperation with the burn centre of the Red Cross Hospital Beverwijk,
The Netherlands, Humeca developed products for plastic surgery and burn
treatment, like the MEEK-technique for skin transplantation and a new
dermatome. Humeca has a production facility to make the disposables for this
technique. The products are supplied to burn centres all over the world.
